Is Danny Paille injured? I don't like it that he hasn't been playing lately.

He had a puck to the face, needed stitches and his teeth pushed back in....wore a face guard at practice the next day. Not sure if that is why he hasn't played but if someone has to be scratched, it would make sense at this point to sit him.

Come on Bruins, win this one in regulation! Make Luongo uncomfortable in Boston again!

Surprised they aren't playing Thornton, he has played well against us and is the only real deterrent to a fight -- not because he is scary but because he is a friend.

Lines are from dailyfaceoff.com and probably reflect recent lineups more than future lineups.

Ha ha! love him:

I think it's unfair to ask Thornton to address Bruins problems. He has a lot of friends on the team-so he isn't going to talk serious smack and he probably is focused on the Panther locker room.

Thornton is a team guy.

The run of the mighty clodefish continues.

Don't underestimate the blob! Come out with the same intensity as the other games and we'll pull through.

Glad this one is at home. Not only do they have to make these 2 remaining home games count, but this is a huge game and the Panthers have leaned on the Barkov line pretty heavily as of late; it'll be nice to get the Bergeron line out against them.

A convincing win ala the Rangers game would be great tonight, take care of business!

God I love Thornton. Can't wait til he gets a analyst job with CSNNE. We'll have him back forever.

A Bruins win tonight and (hoping for) a Sens loss, would of course give us a 5 point lead on them. How many more wins do we need to get before we actually clinch a spot? Assuming Ottawa maybe finishes the season .500

Oh lord, so what is our top pairing now with Trotman next to Chara? Half sarcasm but he just is not ready. Made that one big hit but needs to be a lot more physical overall.

If we play 500 and get 6pts the last 6 games:

Ottawa needs 10pts in 7 games (5-2-0)
Florida needs 11pts in 6 games (5-0-1)

5 point lead but Ottawa will still have a game in hand. 5 games left after today for boston (6 for Ottawa) so it would mean boston is in with three wins in their last 5. (If ottawa wins all their remaining games after tonight) my math may be a tad off but i think thats right
