This summer isn't like the last handful. Team now has money and has two of the top young scorers in hockey inked long-term. Goalie is in place. In retrospect, Fiddler and Whitney could have been flipped for something, but the Lehtonen / Peverley injuries both happened after the deadline.

Pay Dillon, Roussel and Eakin.

Give Oleksiak a look.

Plenty of teams have a summer "To Do" list much longer and more expensive than y'all's ...

I don't think Oleksiak will be any more ready next season than he is this season... Think it's going to take a while for him.

This game reminds me a lot of the one we played just before breaking out of the Jan funk. Where they looked good and everything was going right, but they just couldn't break through. Obviously times are tough but hopefully this was a similar game and they're set to get back on the right track going forth.

Expecting big things against a bad Sens team at home.
