It wasn't just Z. Marchand made a brutal blue-line pass that led to a breakaway goal, Carlo looked exhausted, Krug made several bad passes, etc., etc. Of the forwards, one of the best was Nordstrom. The team was due for a collective letdown, and had it.
Actually it was Kretch that made the bad pass at the O zone blueline, but bad passes were made all night by the entire team! Agree with Nordy being one of the best forwards but I'd add Backes, Heinen, Coyle, and Wagner in there too. The bad thing about that is that it means our Best players were not our Best players which usually ends poorly.
