After watching a few games where we get a short powerplay at the end of OT I thought of something. Since the nhl wants to finish more games in regulation or OT instead of the shootout, what do you guys think about the idea of extending OT if there is a team on the powerplay until it is over?

The Coyotes have been playing a lot better in the past 2 months and the team as a whole, is making progress. Even without a 1C/2C/1RHD, no chance of the playoffs, yet they are still playing well.
