Something must be up. Seems as though the Hawks fans, on here anyways, are losing hope and think they will get beat tonight. I'm confused. They are still a very good team. That said I hope we put another beatdown on them tonight.

Looking a the projected lineup for the Preds, why don't they switch Nystrom and Stalberg? Would like to see VS with some speedy players to see what he can do. Now is the time to try different lineups and maybe positions for players. Nothing to lose. The rest of the season should be considered almost like tryouts for next year. If VS was switched with Nystrom I think those lines look pretty good. Not Chicago good mind you, but for who is on the roster.

Looks like we have 1 (one) RW forward (Horny) in the projected lineup for tonight? And only 2 LW forwards on the active roster?! What is up with that? We have 6 Centers, 5 LW and the 1 RW. Are most teams built like this?

It's always interesting and much more relaxing when there is no kind of pressure for a win. If we win, awesome. We beat the Hawks, and that's always fun. If we don't win, oh well. The season isn't going anywhere really, and we're one game closer to a high pick to help boost the offense.

So, Go Preds! Or Don't! You know, whatever

Just play and don't get hurt

Smith should not be considered as a C anymore, he's a RW and I can't imagine a time when we want to move him to C with Wilson/Jarnkrok/Watson in the pipeline

It's sort of like pre-season. Easier on my heart, that's for sure.

Go Preds!

Chicago is 5-4-1 in their last 10 games and have gone from 1st to 3rd in the division after losing to Colorado twice. The Blues are starting to run away with the division when it wasn't long ago it was the Hawks who were firmly in 1st. It means they'll have to play the Avs in the playoffs who have beaten them 4 out of 5 times this season rather then a wildcard team.

The preds survived the 1st 5 minutes because of Rinne and are playing better now as they at least have had some zone time.

Again Trotz playing musical chairs with the 3rd person on the line with Smith/Wilson so far its been Nystrom/Borque/Spaling with them.

I'm glad that our forwards are capitalizing on the chances our defense is creating for them

Well damn, we clearly just need weber and josi firing shots on net all game, they'll go in or let the forwards put back a rebound like the past 2 goals. Nice to see.

Well, at least until that happens, 2-1 preds.

PP. A couple of wins have given the guys some confidence. Rinne makes a big difference in the team as he made the saves in the beginning of the game.

Hornqvist scores on the PP 2-0

Towes scores at the end of the period off a Josi turnover. :shakehead Rinne tried his best but you can't let them get away on a breakaway. Up 2-1 though

We need ellis to give the forwards a puck handling clinic. His transitions into the offensive zone have been some of the best on the team.

Yeah. If hutton or maz is in net tonight it is at the very least tied. Jones/ekholm have been lackadaisical out there while ellis and mdz passes have taken quite a few bad bounces.

What a pass by josi and finish by ellis. Is there a reason we haven't moved him to forward?
