Swayman was STRONG tonight. Hell of a showing by him. I really liked how aggressive the bottom six was as well. Zacha with another laser wrist shot.

Nothing fancy tonight but they played hard and got rewarded with a 3-0 dubya. I like it.

Its like every game....asked "that Lauko is something eh"

Monty = "yesss... but he will sit next game" 😔
..or "Yeah, Lauko had a really good game, but Donny already had him shipped back to Providence on the first red-eye flight outta here tonight. Our GM just doesn't care for young, fast players who can inject some much needed energy into the team".

Woo!

Good to get back in the win column.
I admit, I wasn't able to watch the entire game, although I had it on while doing other things, but Bergeron looked tired. I'd like to see them start rotating him, Marchand and Krejci in and out of the line-up. Just to give them some rest.

I like Zacha and Bertuzzi on the 2nd and 3rd lines respectively. They just work better there.

Hope Forbort isn't out too long. This is why you need D depth.

Solid win tonight.
Much better compete level tonight.
Another solid game by Lauko, he is a member of the team next season.
Glad Carlo is back, for the flack he gets here, he is having a great season & is a huge part of the top 4.
Sway was back to his solid self.
On to Minny for a tough afternoon game.
Yeah, I don't get all the flack Carlo keeps getting. The guy is a steady stay-at-home defensmen and has a reach of an adult giraffe

Sure he makes some mistakes, but overall I'd say he's a solid defensmen

Lmao when Monty tries to make a joke about the old team, chuckled but no one picked up on it and he just awkwardly did a look over/side eye hahaha anyone else notice that

Yeah, Monty caught Jack off guard with that joke, which kinda embarrassed Jack a bit

I do too but if not hope Lauko does us a favor and shuts his big fat yapper regarding being traded in a year where vets are coming back on reduced salary contracts, the team is loaded and all in and he's a 22-year-old 3rd rounder from 2018. He will get his chance but this ain't the Yotes or Hawks or Habs roster guy, More skatey, less yappy. 134GP-23G-38A-61PTS in the AHL is not blowing anybody away. Like the player, hate the whining.

He clearly deserves to get a serious shot in the NHL.

He's earned a long look to see what he is.

Him using every option to earn a legit NHL shot and an NHL contract isn't "whining".

I can't imagine going to my boss and asking to be put in a position to succeed so I can provide financially for me and my family and he tells me to stop whining and keep working. I'd definitely be looking to go elsewhere in that case.

What a wild out of touch take.

Much better and a shutout for Sway is awesome. I hope Forbort is similar to Lindholm's situation and it is swelling only. The poor guy can't catch a break, he sacrifices his body so much.

I bet $500 on the game (Sportsbook, not real money - thanks to @Fenway I have been doing that more) because I was pretty confident they would win. Getting taunted in Chicago by the crowd made me think there was no way they would lose last night. Thank you Hawks fans.

Nothing like puck luck to make a goalie look good. And thank you refs, we needed your help
It was a better effort than the last 2 games, but Swayman hid some deficiencies in our game with his stellar play. Would like to see better overall puck management, and would like to see our "best players" return to form and start leading the team again. Except for Jake, our first line has been quiet. Zacha has been the best player on the second line. Lets go vets.

Got a picture of the goalie hug but I'm too drunk to find it on my phone
Don't feel too bad, I don't even drink and I can't find stuff on my phone most of the time.

I’d be concerned if he wasn’t so gung-ho about being with the big club. He’s earned it at this point and he can clearly play in it.

He got like 6 minutes of ice time last night and was noticeable (in a good way) during just about every second of it. Drew two penalties and I believe had the most scoring chances.
