First of all, you have to give it up to the Flames last night. They are a team out of the Playoffs and was down 1-3 on the road with less than 10 minutes left and they continued to battle...I have a lot of respect for the Flames.
However, it's ok for Stars fans to call this a bad loss because that's exactly what it was. When you are at home and have a commanding 3-1 lead in the final stretch and you allow a team to outplay you and tie it up.... that is bad. Also, I believe we were "lucky" to get this to OT because if the Flames had a little more time and a few more chances I'm not sure we're even getting 1 point.
Now I agree, there is no need to overreact and start the "doom and gloom" posts about this team falling apart, this is the NHL and you have to be ready to bring your A-game for a FULL 60 minutes, especially at this point in the season. I beleive that this team will use this as a lesson, and learn from it moving forward. I really believe Ruff will use this to show the team that they can't take any periods off regardless of the situation.
We still gained a point over Vancouver and Winnipeg last night so that is good news.
