Fleury said they called him before they made the trade, his thoughts were of Subban but had no problem with it. Thought it was nice they called him.

I think it's encouraging if Lehner was willing to take a contract that was three seasons if we want to re-sign him. If we were to offer five or six seasons that could make the AAV very manageable.

Which is uhhh. Wrong. In Whitecloud's young career he's already proven himself as a far more stable presence defensively. And I'd even argue in terms of his breakout passes but that's just the eye test.
