I have one more idea for Tuesday' GDT. If it doesn't work I am going on Injured Reserve for the rest of the year as far as GDTs go.

Afterwards I can take over. Everytime I've made one we lost. Total tank job GDT for the rest of the year.

Yeah if the loses keep piling up I was gonna do a GDT using my military Armor ID booklet (using the tanks). Best part is with Soshnikov take #90 is there is a Russian T-90 tank also. Vladi gonna be the T-72. I’m gonna have some fun with it.

I genuinely felt bad for Allen today. I think he probably could/should have stopped the fourth goal, but we should never have given up a short handed breakaway. On the whole though, he played a pretty damn solid game. Unfortunately he was left out to dry by some horrible defensive execution.

Soshnikov Looked pretty good, could be a solid 3rd liner. We keep playing like that we have no shot at making the playoffs let alone winning a round. Please trade Berglund, so tired of seeing him do nothing when he can actually stay healthy.

Yeah he played well for his role, made some good hits. Forechecked well.

Agreed. I hope he gets traded so he can find success elsewhere. This is a pithole for him; and us fans.

"Singin' the Blues in Nashville" (Because we have never heard titles like THAT before)

The St. Louis Blues entered Nasvhille out of a playoff spot for the first time this season. Mike Yeo, against better judgement from the fans started Jake Allen. "He gives us the best chance to win, he wants to redeem himself and we believe his head is right for todays game." However all did not look well with Allen in the first period allowing 5 goals on 3 shots. Captain Pietrangelo explains this mess "Well you know, I was skating down the ice and I looked up and the goalie wasn't even looking like he was paying attention so I shot it. The puck went in and I threw my hands in the air because I thought we were about to tie it 1-1. But I skate around the net and look down the ice and Carrie Underwood was throwing her bra onto the ice in excitement. I was confused. Thats when the refs looked at me and laughed. I don't know what the big deal was or why Carrie is now a Blues fan but thats cool. I am just glad i can help the team."

Blues went on to lose 9-0 and center Paul Stastny had these words after the game. "Whatever dude. Dude... whatever, like... I mean... Its just hockey bro. Move on from the loss. This isn't like life n death or somethin. Its like... its just hockey bro."

Sobotka on the loss "I am a big Patty Kane fan and hope I trade to Hawk soon."

Parayko: "There I was thinking about butterflies when all of a sudden the crowd went nuts! I had to believe a rare Golden Monarch had entered the building but it was my teammate putting one past our own goalie. I was sad."

Yeo: "Well we tried hard. You know we got some things to fix. Guys got the message though. They know what they have to do and we believe they got the message."

Soshnikov's skating, maneuverability, passing and puck handling looked better than 75% of the rest of the team imho. He had some shifts that went by without the Blues even gaining possession of the puck. Looking forward to seeing him play some more.

Leaf fan coming in peace - just skimming here but it seems like you guys got a very typical game out of Sosknikov in the first outing: ball of energy, hits out of his weight class, wrist shot that makes you think he could score 20 goals in the right usage. Still seems like a really good deal for a 4th rounder
