Battling the man cold and i gotta support a system downtime tonight at 2am. I’ll be recording this and watching tomorrow night most likely.

I’m feeling good about this team. Scoring is coming from all sources for the first time ever.

I am no fan of Jack....but a disgrace? Tad over the top there.
I know I am on the minority but I’ll take Jack and his wicked sense of humour over da udder guy . Never heard a ton of his games living on the west coast and he calls a great game but the tone of his voice ( especially on goals) sounds to me like some dude yelling at kids to get out of his yard .

Many of us scoffed but Vegas has become the ultimate road trip for hockey fans. There are a LOT of Bruins fans here and this is repeated with most of the other teams.

They have a special pregame planned for the invaders from Boston but it is unlikely it will be seen on TV unless faceoff is pushed backed to 7:20 PM which is possible depending on how the Chicago at Detroit game goes.

You know, I have always wanted to get out to vegas....but I feel like my trip would be over in less than a few hours after every bit of money I'd scrape up is gone between whiskey and a slot machine

So far my initial $20 in a slot machine has grown to this and I will now use these at the Sportsbook today :handclap:

Got freebies to see David Copperfield last night as well. This beats a road trip to Buffalo

Whiskey is free even at the nickel slots. The trick is intercepting the booze server as she is about to make their rounds. So you have to be sneaky then run to the section they are about to take drink orders. It becomes an art form really.

Went to Vegas twice last year and didn't gamble once. I work in the gambling industry, so I know the odds. :D

We have located bottomless mimosas. And salted caramel French toast. And cheesy hash browns. I love this town! (I got a 5k in before stuffing my pie hole)

It’s really cool how much the city has embraced the knights. There were people walking around in jerseys at 8am local time and every bar/restaurant is fully decked out in Knights gear. The bartender said that every game is a party atmosphere everywhere. There was a guy setting up a penalty box photo both in front of New York New York at 9. Just a really cool buzz.

We went the first year (to see the B's). I put one dollar into the slot machine as I was waiting to get into the Beatles Love show . I lost the dollar so I stopped. :).

My daughter made me jump off the Stratosphere...

The B's lost the game.

Vegas actually has good hockey fans. Before the Knights, I was always surprised at the number of folks that live there I talked hockey with.

The food in Vegas is amazing. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet at Paris. Best in town, especially the made to order crepes.

Jumping off the Stratosphere is the one thing in Vegas I wouldn't do.

I was surprised to see Lady Liberty wearing her sweater, I thought that was only because of the playoffs last year.

We all tend to forget that 2,000,000 LIVE here and it seems they want to embrace something that is theirs.

The VGK staff is wonderful to work with and it is easily the best setup for TV in the NHL

I have to behave today but after the game :) Nobody minds that there is no rush to get to St. Louis and tomorrow should be fun.

I’m sure. There are worse places for an off day.

We’ll be in touch!

I have NOTHING planned for tomorrow - I went up the strip to check out what the Wynn Encore looks like ( and now have a Boston players card ) but seriously there is no reason to leave the MGM, NYNY complex as everything you need is here including the monorail.

Fremont Street is the way to go. Been to Vegas like 6 times and finally stayed there on my last trip. I loved it!

Waterslide through the shark tank at the Golden Nugget is epic.
Wynn all you can eat buffet, roller coasters, people watching, endless fun and now hockey and great weather, how can you go wrong.
