Oettinger is having a bad game. He's having what is essentially a league average year.

The problem with Oettinger is fan expectations aren’t realistic, but those expectations are almost exclusively the fault of the Stars who market him like a Vezina contender and have every Stars-employed TV, radio, and writer tell us over and over Oettinger is one of the best goalies in the league.
