GDT: Game 59: The Sticky Wicket at 2PM - Oilers @ Coyotes - FSAZ

So while this point streak continues I think we need to continue to bring the stickiness.

Why is this game a sticky wicket? Well the game is at 2PM for one. Not that many NHL games at 2PM. And you've gotta drive over there early? And some people work on on Saturday. Edmonton has lost 5 in a row so maybe we have that in our favor. But the Coyotes have been beaten by the Oil twice this season. Sure we've got Nick Cousins and Kevin Connauton on our side, generationally sticky players to be sure. But they have the conventionally generational McDavid on their side. When the wicket is sticky, surely it's an advantage for the already sticky?

I think the stickiness of Tocchet's crew will win out but it's hardly a gimme.

tfw you go onto HFboards to escape anything cricket related because your team got smoked yesterday, but then Sniper immediately makes a reference to it. I also captained a team called the Sticky Wickets for a few years. The more you know.

yeah we're only 3 points behind Buffalo so it's not worth scoreboard watching anymore at this point, especially with our current lottery system being the way it is. I want to watch this team build chemistry and win. Let's go Yotes.

Panik played in the 2014 Olympics for Slovakia. I have no knowledge of Slovak hockey whatsoever, but I imagine that means he would have been in Korea now if he hadn't been in the NHL. Good for him he gets a game.
