this is what i was wondering. i hope we didn't call him up just for him to watch the game in the pressbox. but i can't see a position for him to fill, unless someone got injured last night that we don't know about but there is no such word of that.

Judging from the replay of Legwand's goal, I'm guessing Spaling was hurt on that play.

Gonna be a very tough game. Multiple guys out with injuries and lots of youngin's making their way into the lineup. That said, bring it!

This is going to be a really tough game. We don't have Spaling and they don't have Sobotka; similar players, but losing Spaling hurts us worse than losing Sobotka does them because they have so much NHL-level depth. There could be some pressure on Moser in his NHL debut, or, worse, we might have to run with seven defensemen.

I would throw Hutton back out there, because I have zero faith in Dubnyk, and I don't think the team has any faith in him, either.
