Crazy how hockey is weird like that sometimes.

That's why I tend to look at a player on the whole instead of individual stats in one season.

Like a guy like Tatar will always have a job. He's not a great hockey player, but he's a perfectly acceptable player in every zone who can net 20 goals consistently.
