They played ok it was a scrambly 1st which has been normal on this home stand lol.
One thing I thought was they recovered to keep pucks away from dangerous spots 5 on 5 Detroit got chances but not with room or time often couple on pp but that's to be expected.

They played like ass when it comes to puck possession and breakouts but I guess that should be expected.

Still don't like Leivo on the top line. It's a really awkward fit with Boeser. They're both going into same areas as right-handed shots.

It's been every 1st period lately and Detroit is playing really aggressive nothing to lose hockey.

Petey is such a good lad. He tried to deke and lost it so he hustled his ass off to play defense.

Compare that to any other Canuck on this team.

Just a monster.

Love EPs jam but he was a little scrambly in the d zone there. Obviously trying to make up for his gaffe but I think he could have been a little more contained.

Markstrom has looked so incredibly confident in himself over the last month and a half. Been an incredible difference maker. Really happy to see that

I forget that he's still only 28 and could still carve out a good 5-7 years if he can get into the right headspace, which has always been his largest hurdle

Of course Demko and Dipietro throw wrenches in that ;)
