Edler and Hamonic out next game would mean:

Hughes Chatfield
Benn Schmidt
Juolevi Myers

Cant see how wed lose with that lineup. If Schmidt goes down, then:

Hughes Chatfield
Benn Rafferty
Juolevi Myers

:yo:

Canucks team defense is laughably atrocious. How Gallagher finds himself eyeball to eyeball with Holtby with less than four seconds left, is mind boggling.

They might be fun to watch....but expecting this team to make the playoffs in the Northern Division with this team defense is pure fantasy.

I learned two things from this game

1) we signed Travis Hamonic, apparently

2) Travis Hamonic is just absolutely godawful. Holy jeebus, bring back Jordie Benn.

As it goes too many of the forwards left d hung out to dry most of the night as well.

Did Hamonic finish the game? Seems like Edler may be out a bit. Not sure if Hamonic being out actually hurts us though. I can see why Flames fans were happy to see him go. He left his game in Long Island.

You know how usually you're thinking in your head, "well at least we still have player x and player y to come back into the team." Well, this is it. If you're hanging your hopes that Benn will make this team look good then oh boy.

You would think with 3 1st unit PPGs and 1 EVG for his line that Petey would have someone gotten at least a secondary assist.

Benn could realistically replace Edler's impact so far this season. Not too worried about Edler being out, but our forward group needs an injection of talent like Podkolzin or a Miller esque trade.

Hoglander being pushed in the top 6 is unfair to him even if he looks ready for the NHL.

Maybe it’s time to split up the lotto line? Put one of Boeser or Miller with Horvat. Make it so the other team has two lines to worry about outside the power play.
