No Benn or Jagr.

The Blues outclass them and Stars fans have complained a lot about their defense, but after four straight divisional games, this is the time when the Blues are at risk for a bit of a let-down. Gotta stay focused, stay out of the box, and keep the powerplay hot.

He’s not expected to play Saturday because he needs to get some immigration paper work filed through the system. He and the Stars are hoping he’ll be ready to go Monday in Columbus.

“I am going to definitely push myself in these three practices I get, hopefully I can get in there Monday and jump right into it,†Benn said. “Be a top six guy and contribute.â€

Good luck tonight guys (though comparing the two teams you shouldn't need it, lol).

Also, don't worry about taking penalties because as long as our coach keeps putting Robidas and Morrow on the ice for powerplays, you're more likely to score shorthanded than we are to score on the powerplay.

Officially? Not as far as I'm aware.

However, he's coming off the shutout (with a day of rest between this game and his last start), and the next two games are back-to-back. Hitchcock's previous usage patterns in similar situations strongly suggest that Halak will get the start tonight and Elliott will get the start on Sunday.

I hate this. I hate playing rookie goalies with minimal experience. Always go into the game with high expectations, see very little work ethic, then see a Blues loss.

Hitch needs them focused tonight.

I'm not sure how good Nilstorp is, but anyone is better than facing Lehtonen. He always plays great against the Blues.
