Are Sharks fans really coming to our GDT after a win that they had no business getting and giving us **** for it? Damn.

Anyways, good game guys. Great game to watch.

Ah yes, the ol' Sharks barely won a game so now a few bad apples have to come in here and troll like the Ducks just lost the entire season. Yay.

You guys most def deserved to win the game, but good game regardless. Seriously what'd you guys do to Winnik? He looks amazing out there! Way better than he looked on the Avs and with us. Anyways good luck with the rest of your games you guys are a dangerous team this season.

We combined him with ryan perry and selanne unfortunately the result ended up with 1 super player and 3 average players

lol, It is just that you'll might want to notice that with Boyle out at this point we aren't just missing Boyle but we are practically missing all of our offensive defense men.

So you really feel the need to point that out? I mean you guys won, what is the purpose of coming over here and telling us you would have played better? You got lucky and won. Would you have played better if some players weren't missing? Yes, does that matter? No, it doesn't. Honestly don't know why so many of you are over here pointing out that you could have been better. That's common ****ing sense. Get a clue and stop trolling over here.

Firs time this season 2nd line actually played more minutes than 3d line. And i really think that Boner line had their best game so far this season. They had some very good shifts.

Its not saying much, but at least I noticed them doing stuff offensively for once. I like calling them the Boner line too, because thats what theyve sucked so far this season.

Well the rage is gone as I remember that we still got a point and we made one of the best team's in the league look human.

On to positives.

Bonino didn't look...great...but he looked better tonight
Etem looked much better than expected. He's really come a long way since the start of the year and hope that play continues.
Getzlaf: Still hasn't seemed to have lost a step.
Fowler: He looks absolutely terrific in his own zone. I think I might trust him more than any other blueliner in both zones. One thing that's bugging me though is, he's physically stronger and quicker to make room for himself, but he's not utilizing his vision well enough. He could be setting up plays better but...I mean he's still just 21. I can't wait to see what an improved version of this looks like.

doesnt count they were missing players due to the uncommon occurrence of injuries in the nhl.

Anyway here's a few of my thoughts:

Getzlaf was great again, as he has been all season.

Entire third line was awesome as well. Cogliano is a different player this year. Just please don't stick him with Palmieri and Bonino again.

Ryan was strong. Not great, but better than he's been.

Teemu was IMO the worst player on the ice for us.

Palmieri is the only other player that I thought struggled. Almost like he's gotten comfortable or something.

Rakkel is solid but still think he should go back down.

Etem was impressive. Would like to see he or Palmieri on top line instead of Beleskey.

Beleskey was pretty good. He still limits that top line though. Glad he scored, but it was actually a poor shot IMO.

Perry and Hiller blew this game for us. Both could have won it for us.

That's great man, I really don't know what else to say to that post. Maybe it's different for you this year, maybe it's not. I won't buy into Sharks success until they show more when games really count. Marleau looked same as he always has to me tonight. Let Thornton do everything and a little dangerous in space. I don't know. I don't even think that line dominated at all tonight. They were only ones being dangerous, but aside from that disasterous play our defense that lead to the first goal, they were pretty much kept in check. Our top line was more effective Imo. For whatever reason Perry can't bury his chances this year.

I would say give the team a look when we aren't playing the Ducks.

We always match up terribly against your team. No matter how good we look I could never predict a playoff series with your team not going to 7 games.

Ducks possess a tough, strong, aggrovating first line. When matched up against a more finesse or just smaller 1st line Marleau has actually looked a bit tough to match up with this year :help: I know crazy lol

Yeah was gonna mention this as well. Bones isn't a bad player, he really isn't. He's definitely an NHL player, but he's simply not a top six center. I still believe this team would have been in better shape if they would have done what I said and got a 2nd line center and he centered the 4th line. Selanne simply isn't a very good player at ES anymore. He's been struggling on PP too. He and Perry just are having a really hard time handling the puck. IMO it's time to upgrade one of their spots, and no way Murray thinks Selanne needs an upgrade.

This team looks like it could make the playoffs and possibly do some damage, but IMO until 2nd line center is either found or obtained, we won't have much of a chance.

This is the 3rd Sharks game I've watched and my mind hasn't changed. Thornton is still a beast (during regular season anyway) and most of Marleau's success comes from his hard work. As I said he's dangerous in space and has a good shot, but that's how he's always been.

What? Teemu made some good plays. He wasn't as bad as Perry (he picked it up at the very end) and Allen.

When I heard of the Allen signing I thought he'd be a darkhorse for signing of the year. That he'd be a defensive specialist the way Lydman was when we first signed him. Maybe it was the lockout but he hasn't been that guy at all. He can't make or receive passes, for every correct poke check he makes, he makes a big blunder. Not a fan of his at all so far. Souray looked good tonight I thought. Allen? Not so much.

We will see what happens come playoff time. I am not a big "this is our year kinda guy" but this is the first time I have been excited for a Sharks team in quite a long time. For whatever reason feels like things are different this year... Most likely due to the coaching staff changes over the off-season.

We do need to work on how we deal with these more grinding games though. Hopefully, our coaching staff (much improved) adjust and we see solid games against the Blues and our next game against the Ducks.

Have a good year, I'll be checking it out on GameCenter. I know they didn't look great this game but I hope your second line keeps producing because Koivu and Selanne are a joy to watch. As much as he has killed our team the last few years Teemu is awesome to cheer on.

Im actually less impressed with this sharks team, then i have been in a while. I dont think they are built to beat the teams they are going to have to play to get to the cup. Blues Kings would be the favorites even with the slow start, the kings just need to get in and they are made for a playoff series, id even put the ducks in that category we may be borderline team but if we make it in were a tough 1st matchup.
