Also, Kovalchuk is on fire for the Habs, 7 points in 7 games, hope he helps them finish 9th in the conference.

Ovechkin heats up too with a trick, goal scoring race will be interesting.

Washington will get the president’s trophy which is ok with me . I really don’t want it.

Need to keep up this type of play and make sure it's not a one off. Don't expect a fight every game, but I do expect them to have each other's backs and not allow themselves to get bullied. This game in my mind was pretty big in the sense that things could have snowballed downhill if the Bs came out and played soft again and got the loss while doing so. Instead they found their sack and battled in getting 2 points against a hot team. Would love to see another forward called up and given a chance along with Kuhlman. Also, it was good to see both guys on the third pairing playing as physical as they've played in a long time.

Krug needs to teach some of the other guys how to fight and have some heart.

He may be small and get manhandled on occasion, but he has the heart of a lion and we are lucky to have him.

I must be going blind. Looked like Kuhlman should have been credited with a goal. I could swear the shot clearly changed trajectory after deflecting off Kuhlman's stick. Both angles they showed on replay seemed to indicate that.
