Coyotes just pulled off a Casino Heist for those two points. Crazy.

Seriously though, what the hell is wrong with the officiating this season? It's a serious problem league-wide. There's absolutely zero common sense from the refs this season.

Stole that one.

Not sure how that OT goal didn't count. These refs lately... I'd like to see Tipp express his frustration and take the $10k hit.

With the new coaches challenge maybe the league needs to look into redefining what they consider goaltender interference.

Awesome they pulled out a win from a 6-shots-in-40-minutes game, but man, that disallowed goal was BS.
No interference at all, Boedker was just skating across the top of the crease.
Great 2 points.

Sounds like Domingue thinks interference was the right call. Perhaps it's just the goalie in him talking out loud.

I won't fault the call but the review looked pretty clear to mine eyes.

That was THE single weakest goaltender interference call of the year. Absolutely hosed. Robbed. They even reviewed it FFS...

For goalie interference.

The NHL is not going to over turn a call unless it is a no brainer. The call on the ice is almost always going to stand. If the goal was good on the ice and the Wild challenged it, the NHL would not over turn it. You just need to get the call on the ice in your favor.

As for the game, we stole the points. Mini so out played us but LD was just awesome, he won it for us. OEL is our only D man that can get to the puck quickly and make a good quick decision. We are in desperate need of a PMD. Mini's first pass from behind the goal line is so much better.

I just watched the replay of the challenged goal.

I dunno, Boedker brushes into Dubnyk's right pad right before the shot goes in. Did he have enough time to re-establish his position in the crease to have the opportunity to make the save? That's subjective. The referee didn't think he did. It could have been ruled either way, and was so momentary that a challenge/review was never going to overturn the call on the ice.

This goalie interference stuff is starting to remind me of the foot-in-the-crease garbage from the late 90's.

That game was all Domingue and Duclair. Nice to be on the right side of stealing a game for once.

I would be OK with the call if there was consistency.in the officiating about what is, and what is not interference.

This. Ming the merciless has had several goals with more contact than this not be ruled interference. If they want to say pretty much any and all contact is interference (which is the camp I'm in anyway) great, but consistency is the key here.
