Even if we win this game there's no way Nill can look at the past 5 games, or 10 games, or 42, and think this team is OK defensively. The defensive system they use just doesn't work, or the personnel are really really poorly taught on how to play defense.

But this team does need to address these effort issues sooner rather than later. You can't just let the opposition bombard your goaltender for 40 minutes and consistently win.

Seems to happen every time we score a few goals and get up in a game. Has to be a coaching thing because they don't play like that when they are even or behind in a game.
