Two storied rivals, both with disappointing seasons at the midpoint, both coming off two wins, neither likely to get three in a row.
Probably will end in a shootout. The Flyers have some o’ them fancy goal-scorers, so let’s hope it doesn’t get to that.

The Bruins are 0 for 14 on the power play in their last six road games.
The Flyers are among the worst penalty killing teams in the league at 74.8 percent.​

So there's an opportunity, if we get an opportunity.

Im nervous for this game...I think we CAN win it with ease if we turn up but Im worried by the inconsistencies this season and Philly seem to be warming up, anything less than a win in reg will be disappointing, whatever happens, we can't afford to not get any points

Disagree. That line is hot. Paille's aggressive, speedy forecheck is part of the equation. Sure Paille wouldn't put a puck in the Atlantic Ocean but the line is working these past two games.

Gonna have to miss this one on account of flying back to DC tomorrow. Matinees haven't been very good this season, let's turn it around! Flyers are really not a good team. Capitalize on any potential PPs - their PK is awful.

Looks like Habs Tinordi getting knocked out cold tonite in AHL.Lost few teethe whole works one shot.Be more clamoring now by hab fans get rid of fighting lol

I'm all for standing pat on the lines for now. There's nothing in particular that went wrong in the last two games - except maybe that I wasn't impressed with Pasta on Thursday, but I'm willing to wait and let him develop. Not sure if he's ready to burn a year off his contract, especially considering most of our openings are on the top lines. If we had a need for a third or fourth line player, I'd bring him up in a heartbeat.

I do like the new lines in general, though. If the top line and top d-pairing go out, that's three Davids and two Goliaths on the ice. (Yes, Marchand, that was a short joke. Deal. Coz little people know, when little people fight...)

This game's winnable. Philly may be heating up, but so are we - and our L10 record is (slightly) better. I know the Flyers are rough, but I don't want our boys to take a beating. Let's be careful out there! Especially since when they do get a pounding, the refs NEVER seem to call it! (Get better, Loui!)
