Have I mentioned I lay sole credit to the inclusion of a music video in GDT's? Love that it keeps going.

Leafs fans, it's been a long time since we rock 'n rolled

Montreal is not a must win game, but New Jersey is closest to being a soft spot on the schedule as they'll find over the next week, and the Florida-Tampa games are a long way off.

A loss tomorrow will give a big spark to a couple of teams chasing them. No question that it's a big game for both teams.

Win or lose, I expect that both teams put on playoff worthy performances.

Good GDT.

Joffrey Lupul joined his first practice since being diagnosed with a concussion. Lupul has not been cleared for contact and could not put a timeline on return, but said he felt good after the Friday workout. "It truly is day-to-day," he said. "It's not like an arm injury where you can say 'It felt good today I'm good to go tomorrow', it's wake up tomorrow and see how I feel and go from there." Lupul has missed the past three games. - TSN

Mikhail Grabovski did not practice with the team on Friday. Instead, the 29-year-old remained in New York following Wednesday's game against the Rangers, visiting specialists for intestinal problems he's been dealing with for a string of two years. Grabovski had lost weight recently causing some concern and the desire for further tests. Randy Carlyle was unsure if would be available to play against the Canadiens on Saturday. - TSN

Friday's Practice Lines

Forwards:
van Riemsdyk - Bozak - Kessel
MacArthur - Kadri - Kulemin
McClement - Colborne - Komarov
McLaren - Hamilton - Orr/Frattin
Lupul

Defence:
Gunnarsson - Phaneuf
Fraser - Franson
Liles - O'Byrne
Gardiner - Kostka

Goaltenders:
Reimer
Scrivens

Beauty GDT Crump. Love the quality these days, was only a few years ago it'd be 3pm and someone would finally bother throwing up a two sentence "this is the GDT" GDT.

We were probably as complacent as the team we made GDT's for haha.

Now that they're good, the GDT's are good.

7-0 6-0, 5-4, 4-3, 2-1, 3-1, I don't care. Just win.

Long-time Habs fan here. I remember when Toronto was my second favourite team, sporting the likes of Borje Salming, Ian Turnbull, Darryl Sittler, Lanny McDonald, Errol Thompson and Mike Palmateer.

Nice to see the Leafs playing well again and in all likelihood making the playoffs. Not happy that Lupul was concussed.

Hoping for a great game tonight, that the best team wins, and that no one gets injured. I want both of Canada's top cities' teams to go into the playoffs healthy.

If Colborne plays as it sounds like Grabo is okay, would like to see Frattin get into the line up. Going to state the obvious, this team really needs a healthy Lupul if we are going to make some noise in the playoffs. The team is much more balanced having 2 #1 lines as opposed to just 1.

Bully them to no end. I seriously want another 6-0 drubbing so Hab fans can tone it down about "killing" us in the playoffs. 2 6-0 ass whoopings would be so sweet. Orr and McLaren are going to forecheck the hell out of them with Kadri and JVR providing the offence ;)

Stupid York puts stupid exams on Saturday 7-10 pm! What is this ********

Haha!

I HATE EXAMS ON WEEKENDS. Some universities do it, some don't. I have midterms on weekends, never had finals on weekends though.

I have an exam from 7-10 on the last day of exams.
