Don't know about 3 goals but as long as he plays his game, he'll back up what he said at least in my eyes.

I also think Brad directed his response more towards the writer than the player. A case of trying too hard to be clever and he got burned.

They lost to Carolina 3-0 (empty netter for the third goal) on the second night of a back to back in October where both goals by Carolina bounced off Bruins D-men. They didnt play last year, but in 2019/2020 they played one game before the shut down and he Bruins shut them out, then dusted them in 5 in the bubble playoffs. The previous year the Bruins won 2 of 3 meetings in the regular season and swept them in the playoffs.

So I'd say your perception is a bit off.
