Rask's workload since he came back from his LOA has been just about perfect.

Arguing he should be playing against the Habs instead of against the Sabres - completely different argument.

Cave out for Smith? Not sure if you want Backes, Nordstrom or Smith taking draws all night? I think a change is needed but the 4th line has played two good games. I would stick with them.

Cave has regressed a bit. Maybe a night upstairs would help. I like his potential as a versatile 3rd line center.

I don’t think he has regressed as much as he’s just been asked to play a consistent role far beyond his capabilities.

I can easily see him as a good 3rd or 4th line center. But there is a 0% chance he will ever pan out as anything above that IMO.
