Better yet talk to Timmy Thomas, McQuaid and Savard. Look at the guys that have died from brain injuries in the last 5 years. I know most were fighters but still Backes has had 10 concussions, he is not thinking straight. He has had an excellent career playing a game he loves. I wish I was his age with his money, get out now and be healthy and wealthy for life.

Happy you have Backes health as a priority. His wife, mom, dad and friends + doctors and Boston medical staff need to read hfboards... and help Backes protect himself from himself....

That said, if Backes was scoring at a 50 goals 100 pts season... how much people here would be asking for him to stop the game and take care of his health!
