Positive: McAvoy played a damn good game, he was all over the ice, creating chances, making big hits, everything you want to see. Rask was great.

Negatives: These guys couldn't score more than 3 goals in a game right now if their lives depended on it. Team wide inability to finish easy goals has turned in to a phobia of shooting the puck on anything other than a perfect play.

Two nights in a row it could well have been a 2-0 and very different game. Those three missed calls in the first hurt, especially a trip that was being called until the fight.

Aside from my typical complaint, the Bruins were actually quite dominant much of the night aside from after Tampa's powerplays and when trailing. It did look like the Bruins are tired. This is a brutal schedule this season. Early in the season lengthy breaks between games, now so many in a week with travel?

The sky is not falling but Krejci/Debrusk still clearly need help. Heinen needs to sit.

Last night and tonight demonstrate that last year's path to the Final was a bit of a gift.
A bit of a gift ? How about the biggest gift ever. Nights like last night and tonight are so deflating because I know there is no way the Bruins can beat one of these teams in a best of 7, let alone both......

Team is in a slump, it happens, every goalie we face is playing great, our PP all of sudden can't buy a goal, no puck luck, etc. That being said if this team wants to take a serious run at the cup we need to pick up that big bodied 2nd line winter who can score, someone like Kreider. Another 3rd line guy who can skate and hit like Miles Wood would be nice too. Without these type of players we aren't beating the Caps and possibly TB.
