Since we're talking player TOI to blame for our losses, it looks like there's a pretty clear trend between the time we decided to give Veleno top 6 minutes and when we started losing.

It's not like the defensive play and goaltending issues just started yesterday. This has been an issue for over 6 yrs now. I looked up the last 10+ yrs where we were in the standings at this time the other day. This team hasn't gained any ground over previous seasons in wins and points since at least 2016-2017. Our last 100 pt season was in 2015.
