If this were a season where we were going to be making the playoffs (I'm still dubious that we will even if the Pacific is trash) I wouldn't mind Hanzal being rested like this just to be sure, and have him in the playoffs.

I don't know how I feel about it considering my expectations for this season, though.

A 45-degree angle shot really isn't that high percentage I don't think. Most of his lane for doing much was blocked off pretty well and he tried to get it between the stick and legs.

I'd have preferred it if he'd taken it behind the net there.
