with good excuse who puts out a guy that just came off waivers to start OT with Danault, and he's done this more then once and the game was over pretty quickly because of it
False. They lost that OT because of Petry's dumb decision with the puck in the Ozone, the change had already started I think and Danault had made a great pass prior to Petry on his OT shift. Would I have put Byron to start the OT? Probably not, but I can't say I was surprised. Byron is the fastest player on the team and has been used in OT many times. If speed was the need, I would've put Anderson, but maybe they wanted to save him for the next shift or 2 with KK or Suzuki idk.
I don't agree with the decision, but I'm not gonna sit here and call for the brand new coaches head because of it lol. In these past 7 games under Ducharme I see a lot more positives vs negatives regarding the changes he made to the system and his utilization of players. Y'all need to take a step back and look at the big picture man
