Both teams played last night so there can be no tired excuse
..WPG will be looking to avenge the loss we gave them in the Peg and they come in with cofidence after a win last night and scoring 6 goals..We stunk in the first period last night and got dominated and could not climb the mountain tge next 2 periods...but again ot proved you must play with purpose from the getgo and cannot afford any bad periods..I want to see ALL hands on deck tonight not just 1 or 2 guys ...on particular I want to see our alleged best talent be our best players...I want to see a make-up-to the fans for last night's pitiful pretense of being NHL calibre players..they OWE us a top "A" game ,team game,and giving g 100% in individual effort game...and my slackers have to be prepared for tar and feathers because the fans will not stand for putrid no-care MIA performance like the disgusting show last night.Are you listening Serious Captain who no longer inspires and is a dreadful non-factor?

You know...in the past our "leader" ....our Serious Captain...could make a locker room speech to rally tge team after a poor game or poor stretch of games and "will" the boys to follow his lead and go to the mats with him to win and play to top form..but this season he cannot do that because he is the #1 culprit for Country Club mailing it in unproductive and uninspiring performance..He dare not make such a leader's speech without performance to back it up..any such pleading by him to get them all to play better would be LOLed. ..they would laugh at him trying to get them to follow his example because all he has given example of is stinkiness.

I suspect that Q may be running out of patience with our 2nd line if they don't quit running around when they don't have possession. They need to get back on track tonight by keeping it simple on offense and playing responsibly defensively - and please no dangling in the neutral zone.

That was probably what led to the Panarin benching last night. The last 5 or 6 games the second line has looked a lot like Kane lines over the years when they get pinned in our own end. Need to get back to possessing the puck and pushing forward.

Sure he was benched? To me it looked liked he skated off like he was banged up and didn't return until the next period.

I'd be unwilling to break up the only line that is consistantly producing, but it might be time to try something new to get other guys going. Opposing teams have been really good at closing the gap lately, which has made the party line less effective.
