Canucks really locked the game down once they got the 2-1 lead.

3-1 road trip. Better than many thought it would be when it started.

And given many thought I shouldn't have blamed Luongo on the goal I also want to say Luongo very much did his job early in this game. He allowed the team to get the lead and play with the lead (not coincidentally it is easier to score more than 2 goals if you aren't trailing on the scoreboard). He made some big saves and matched the guy at the other end save for save until the cauncks took the lead. That IS what should be expected of him and I suspect what he expects out of himself.

Kesler, Garrison and Luongo had good games. Santorelli was an absolute spark out there. Playing well anywhere in the top 9, he's really showing his versatility.
