Key for the 3rd first and foremost obviously is NO PENALTIES. I can't stress or say that loud enough. Their powerplay has looked dangerous every single time it takes the ice. They're gonna be looking to get on it and get an early one to make it a game. Can't let that happen. Make them earn every inch of ice they take.

Malkin should be centering Cullen and Kuhn right now instead of Sully screwing with multiple lines.

Holy **** are the Caps such a dirty team. That replay showing Ovechkin they literally caught him charging....guy was racing to the guy with the puck as fast as he could. That was waaay more then 3 strides.

That's 90 % of Ovy's hits.

We've done a lot of watching in this game. We need to be on our toes in this third.

If you watch Ovechkin he will frequently line someone up for a check in anticipation of the puck coming to them, which takes him way out of position.

Some definite life after that goal. They need to carry that over. Up three is great but if they play like they have the majority of this game in the third, that lead isn't safe. They have to resist the temptation to sit back too much. Murray can only be expected to make so many grade-A saves.

The powerplay is really awful. They had plenty of opportunities in this game and maybe had one good scoring chance to show for it. This series is far from over... that needs attention. It's also far from acting as a deterrent, which should be crucial against this team.

And yeah... the Capitals are running around all over the place. WTF was that **** from Backstrom?

When Letang is at this level of anger, he's awesome to watch, and he is also frightening to watch because he has the ability to blow the game open with an awesome play or completely kill momentum because of a stupid penalty.
