Interesting. The Caps announcers were talking about Matthew Phillips and said he turned down a 2 year contract offer from Conroy. Not sure I ever heard that or not. It was probably a 2 way contract, so he turned it down.

Could be. I'm disappointed we lost him as a hometown kid, and I like cheering for the little fellas. His size (or lack thereof) really is incredible though. 160lbs at NHL level is crazy regardless of height.
