I don't know how I feel about this one. I felt good about Van and terrible about the SJS. This one could go one of two ways. A lot depends on the goalies on both sides. Quick has not yet looked like Quick, although to be honest, I don't want to see him in beast mode at all this season. Dubnyk had a rough game. Is he mentally tough enough to rebound?

Lots of questions about this line up. I don't have answers, but I'll be watching tomorrow. No doubt about that.

I would like for Yakupov to be put on the right side and Hemsky on the left. Yak looks out of place I find when he's on the LW maybe that'll change when he goes back to his natural position Or maybe not. I still believe in him and think he'll be a star with the other kids .

Skinniest and "smallest" big guy I have ever seen in a net. This guy is Luongo size and Lui looks double the size.

Yeah I don't see us winning this one unfortunately. LA is basically SJ but more physical, has better goaltending, and has better defence. They have Greene and Mitchell out though.

Hopefully we at least put up a battle.

I recommend Ralphie show the team the video of the first period, assess what they went wrong.

Sure the Sharks used their forecheck and their size to their advantage but I really think mental errors and lazy defensive backcheck by our defense and our forwards played a big role in our first period debacle.

I really think the travesty of the first period against the Sharks were preventable had the Oilers played smart, error free hockey.

I was afraid if I turned it back on the horror would come back so I just kept an eye on the boxscore instead.

That 5 on 3 early in the first against a very potent San Jose Power Play pretty much set the tone for the entire game.

Hemsky and Petry both made very bone-headed, yet preventable, penalties. What if...hey?
