Another dreaded game against the Sens.
The first of 3 in the next 12 days. Two of 'em in a row this week.
Sens on a 3-game win streak. Not so rosy for the Habs who have lost 7 of their last 8.
Predictably, some Hab fans are seeing gloom and doom scenarios on the horizon. Here I was thinking the title of this flick was Last Tango in Paris, for some reason ...
Some have been put off at seeing yet another first round pick not panning out.
But hey, it's only Scherbak -- I mean his GF was more interesting than he was and she'll be sorely missed. Still feels like Christmas came early for the waiver wire in a burnt offerings kind of way:
Although, these are not the gifts Hab fans expected ...
We've seen this movie before.
Just when you start to believe that the Habs have it bad, think of what it would be like to have Eugene Melnyk as an owner. Think of Melnyk's lame forced interview with Sens player Mark Borowiecki or Melnyk's alleged twitter burner accounts, or to have to part ways with a franchise player like Eric Karlsson, or to have meddling ownership dictate Pierre Dorion dumb trades that he might have made anyway, or worse still, that whole harassment scandal involving Mike Hoffman and more recently Ubergate.
Eugene Melnyk -- the gift that keeps on giving:
You can't make this stuff up. Even their costumed Spartan dude is a fail. Go Sens ... CLOINK!!!
Luckily, we've got this guy back recently. Who knew he could even smile:
