NEWS
- Jakub Dobes gets the start.

- Sean Farrell & Lias Andersson will return to the line-up.

- Laval will release Nicolas Beaudoin to join Canada for the Spengler Cup.

So Laval is on pretty good roll lately, having won 3 of their last 4 and have picked up points in 4 of their last 5, earning 7 pts out of a possible 10. Hopefully that continues.

And speaking of hoping it continues, Dobes has been stellar lately, putting up a .914 SV% or higher in 5 of his last 6.

Finally, the best news is that both Farrell and Andersson will return to the line-up tonight. That is a big boost for the forward group that has been without those two for long, as well as without Stephens the last little while, and now without Heineman as the two aforementioned are with the big club.

This is also Xavier Ouellet's return to Laval as he's with the Baby Pens now. Also returning to Laval is Rem Pitlick, who is in the AHL.

Despite the overall team struggles,

It's still pretty neat to see our Two 20 yr old Rookies in the AHL be #2 and #3 in team scoring in Roy and Mailloux

It's definitely better than 0's lol
Struble was technically a rookie. Farrell’s doing very well. Kidney coming on of late. Dobes seemingly turning the corner.

Not drool worthy down there and most if not all are question mark-y but there’s potential for solid upgrades at least.

Beck, Hutson and Mesar added next year. Possibly Reinbacher. All these rookies a year older. Laval will be fun to follow for a couple years at least. Nice change

Xhekaj coming to the rescue of his teammates. First true show of emotion. Good to see
I know people want him up but if he’s still got things to learn down there then it’s better in the long term.

Trade a late rounder for a jersey filler goon. Don’t derail a kid’s development just so he can play enforcer. He’s got more potential than that.

Dobes is a big net knocker, ain’t he?

I agree but he’s not even hitting.

Great rush by Trudeau!

Helberg could rest his chin on the crossbar when he’s on his knees. That ridiculous
