Leafs played last night, but its only a 45 minute plane ride...If the Canucks have a chance for a win, it's probably tonight.
The Leafs are clearly a tier above the rest of the teams in the division this season, and have been steamrolling everyone.

Anyway, just hoping for an entertaining game..Demko starts

I think we tend to overweight our perception of the division we're in while not watching enough of the other divisions which also have extremely bad, doormat teams to beat up on.

The Canucks get the Pacific division next season, which will include an expansion team.

Leafs coming off complete domination of the Oilers.....and the Canucks team defense has more holes than Swiss cheese. Demer is going to have to be all-world tonight.

So I either watch the Leafs vs Canucks or Saving Private Ryan...Both will be grusome to watch.

If you have already seen the movie, the hockey game is the lesser of the gruesome twosome, especially if there is little hitting, which is likely the case with TO.

Last night's Oilers game was some practice time for Matthews. I'm sure he's rested and ready to go.

Good luck, Demko. Just stay healthy.

Edit: Forgot to add my thanks to GP for the GDT. Always appreciate the laffs in these dark times. :thumbu:

I expect the leafs to win. It helps the cause of the thread that shall not be named if they do, and continue to put more egg on the face of this inept management group... So Canucks will win at least one game, probably tonight. Especially if Matthews is still out.

Of course he starts, opposition played last night in another city. No way Holtby gets this one.

So take out Jake, who is fast, for Loui? Good thing the Leafs are slow, and lack skill.
Dressing Eriksson feels like spitting in the faces of the fans at this point. Especially when it's ahead of young players, with the team basically eliminated from the playoffs.
Ig Green can't get him to 1000 this year he'll have to bring him back next year.

What a great guy Green is

Either
1) Green is a complete moron
or
2) Mr Blueberry and Jim Benning are trying to save face and are pretty much coaching through Green

Loui Eriksson's last 22 games, when you remove EN points :

22 0-0-0 -8

Loui Eriksson's last 32 games (dating back 13 months to February 1, 2020), when you remove EN points :

32 1-1-2 -11

And he's averaged about 14 minutes/game for those games.

But hey, let's play him ahead of young players when we're way out of a playoff race!

So $3 million per point. Or $500 000 per -1
