3 Keys to the game
1) It's a puck, not a granate
During both of those losses against Pittsburgh and Winnipeg the Kraken gave away the puck in their own zone as soon as they were pressured.
In order to have any kind of success the team needs to to stop doing that, while forwards don't keep on passing it back in their own zone, in order to get their offense going and create better chances.
2) Spacing and Passing
During both losses the team never seemed to trust their teammates(to be at their spot), waited far too long to make passes and also made it tough on themselves with some really bad spacing.
In order to create better chances the team needs to work on this as this is the only way to create high danger chances and more than just some shots from the blueline or the outside.
3) Mix it up
Besides the problems mentioned with that 2nd key to the game, the team also needs to mix it up and find a way to screen opposing teams goalies and make it uncomfortable for them.
Taking shots with hardly anything happening in front of them goalies usually have a good chance of making the save.
