I hate the sharks. Last time we played them in the playoffs we fell behind 3 games to none only to lose in game 7. That was the year the Sharks got a 5-3 power play. After a Wing go slashed in the face. Yes I hold grudges.

Trying to temper my expectations for Kane, but also I am EXCITED to see him play! More than anything just hoping he doesn't re-injure anything, skates well, and feels ok out there. Any offense he can provide in game 1 would be a great bonus.
I've been pretty impressed with his tone and demeanor in all of the interviews and it seems like he really believes in the team.

Eddie Olczyk was on TSN today and they asked him about the Kane signing. I had the biggest smirk on my face when he struggled to say it was hard for him to watch him skate around in a Wings jersey.

He was on IR, missed 5 games. Got dropped down to the 4th line for the Islander game, got 10 minutes of ice time. Top 2 lines are going now, so he's gonna be bottom 6 for a while, if not the rest of the season.
Probably means he won't get enough ice time to set a new NHL record for +/-.

I think that would've been a much bigger announcement. A public appearance by the missing link between modern man and neanderthals would have drawn interest from the scientific community around the globe.

I have an uneasy feeling about this one. I keep thinking it’s a one goal loss with Zadina on the scoresheet with an assist. Thankfully I’m almost always wrong
