I said it before the game, Hakstol set him up to succeed. 3 quality chances in one period is a lot for any player.

We know he's not afraid to go to the hard areas, and he wants to shoot. He seems to know where to go, even on the first replay they showed, he was back door looking for the rebound.

Early.... but I don't think he'll be getting sent down to the AHL again.
