$3 million?

Benn and Hamonic are also UFAs and unlikely to be back and we have nobody on the farm aside from Rathbone who is a one-dimensional skill defender. We're going to have to replace multiple defenders (all PK guys as well) through trade/UFA this summer which will be hard enough even *if* Edler is re-signed.
The 35+ Could help keep the initial caphit low. It just sucks that it’s 2021 and a 2004 3rd rd pick is the best left side defender on the team.

Can we all just gives Tyler Myers some credit where credit is due. Guy is having a very solid season, contract aside.

Eh, he was a big part of the awful defensive start to the season. He's been pretty decent recently though

Best I can do is mention his contract every time he doesn't clear the zone immediately.

I don't usually harp about penalties, but its amazing we did not get a pp in the last 10 min. Their were probably 3 or 4 clear cut infractions and a dozen smaller ones that could have been called. That plug Forbort had 5 on one shift alone

Sometimes the Jets play a Lady Byng-like game where they simply cannot be called for penalties.
In a related story, there ARE NO polar bears in Canada.

He started the season playing like a #6, but he has gradually improved to be a decent mid pair dman right now. Good call Clay

Guys! That kind of positivity about Myers is going to get him protected in the expansion draft.

It is what it is.

He's still effective in the right role, can be signed below market value, and we need him to fill that spot.

Could hit 1000 games as a Canuck before the end of next season, too, which would be a nice moment. This franchise hasn't had nearly enough career Canucks.

Not sure what QH’s matchups are consistently the last few weeks but I’m going to assume that he’s getting easier ES matchups which is contributing to him being above water.

Canucks held the Jets to only TWELVE shots thru TWO periods so far. And is IN Winnipeg in THEIR arena.

Excellent road game thru 2, time to closer up and win the third period here guys

Man I love this team :yo:
