Last time these two teams met, the Canucks had a no -show, and got torched..I think that the Canucks can match up against the Pens as far as skaters...The biggest concern is getting pucks past Jarry, who has the capability to 'John Gibson' the Canucks...
Has the makings of the Canucks playing well , but getting stonewalled by the goalie...

The Canucks have been playing better though in the last 4-5 games..I'm guessing we will be on the wrong side of a one goal game (a moral victory)

This will be a real test to see if this team is any good after their last 2 wins, Pens have lost 3 in a row so they're going to be looking to win, Canucks have some confidence after last couple wins but Pens are a stronger team imo then Ottawa and Montreal.

Or... @valkynax

I was going to write something about the game but then I thought what does it matter. Win, lose, whatever.

I have Guentzel and Jarry on my fantasy team and facing off against a team that has 3 Canucks on their roster. I know how it will go...

6-0 Canucks, with Jarry getting pulled for allowing 6 on 7 shots in the first period. Guentzel with a -6. Hughes 6A, Garland 6 goals.

We can take this one. Team’s play has clearly improved the last 5-6 games. Their confidence has grown and that’s a big factor in any sport.
Looking for a solid performance from Petterson tonight.

Didn't we dominate that game, but just couldn't score?
We showed up, just couldn't finish.

Not that I recall..It was the first game of the road trip..It was a decent start by the Canucks (both teams were offering up odd man rushes) in the first..Then we started taking penalties , and the leagues worst PK came into effect...Tristan Jarry was the best player on the ice.

Against the pens???

We were destroyed for the first 30 min and then the pens backed off and allowed us to outshoot them like 25-2. But almost all of the pens chances were high danger rushes that they could get on will and most of our shots were perimeter shots

But the opposition goalie is unfairly good

"I think we were a little surprised by the speed they got over there"

This was such a bad quote. Aren't the penguins one of the older teams and we are we are supposedly a "young team"? This is the NHL, wouldn't you expect teams to be fast?

No way we are a younger team. No matter what benning says i am pretty sure this team is dead avg in age (28) in the NHL.

Edit: looking on EP we are 27.26 Roughly on the younger half but not the youngest at all. We are also one of the Taller teams at 6'2 avg height apparently.

Edit #2: I was looking at 2019-2020. 2021-2022 we are 27.16 which seems to actually be even closer to the middle/older half. Height however is back to 6'1.

My thoughts EXACTLY Jerr. A blowout loss would be nice but really meh. If the owners do fire bozo Benning the replacement will be a similar type bozo,

Crosby -8 in 11 games. He is doing Ovi's "controller disconnected".
