The funniest things happened to me this Morning.

I went to Tim Hortons to try the new Bieber Timbits everyone is raving about.

While I was waiting in line, out of no where, this elderly gentleman wearing a Maple Leafs hat cuts me in line. The audacity right!

I wasn't sure if he saw me in line, so I randomly struck up a conversation and asked him if he was "looking forward to the Leafs game tonight!"

He turns around, looks at me (stone faced) and says, "I don't watch football."

Then he turned back around and ended up getting his order a full 30 seconds before me

Then on my way home, I parked my car and saw an older lady dressed like the Queen walking her dog. Her dog was wearing the sickest knitted Maple Leafs sweater.

So naturally, as i walked past, i said, "i really like your dogs sweater".

She didnt even look at me... She just kept walking past me in the other direction.

So i muttered to myself, "0 for 2. Good talks."

Im not too sure what to think anymore...

Either random human conversations are no longer a thing post pandemic...

or

Old Toronto maple Leaf fans are just incredibly callas souls. Understandably so

CSW is a good line and does produce. Now if Stastny can go with Ehlers and PLD that would be better. Nothing against Copp, just think his chemistry with Lowry is real good, and Stastny on that 2nd line provides a cerebral playmaker to compliment a shooter and power forward.

I remember seeing Laine score in overtime to defeat the Calgary Flames in one of his last games as a Jet.

And I'm sure that we've won more than one game 4-1 at some point recently.
