The absence of Bourque and Diaz has really hit the team hard. Plecky can't do much with Brian "high and wide" Gionta on his wing.

If it makes you feel any better he's getting ripped to shreds on twitter and two other hockey forums.

He HAS sucked though, however predictable as it is. Not quite good enough to crack the roster, but not bad enough to be sent down. Tough position to be in.

It can be attributed to lack of play, but even when he's played more (last season) he wasn't the best defenseman. He didn't deserve top 6 minutes. If they decided to dress 7, maybe has a place.. Otherwise Weber doesn't belong in the NHL (from what what he's shown).

He's been terrible tonight.
