We won a game and the powerplay almost scored.
Bertuzzi is still somehow 5th on our team in scoring. Ryan is tied with Larkin for the team lead, and Glendening has more points than Zadina.
The Red Wings will hopefully play two great games against Chicago. Will Bernier get both starts or does Greiss get one of them? I'm quietly optimistic they will win one of the games.
Put LGD on the PP net front, problem solved.
No goalie is ever going to expect a double backhand from the knees, LGD has an elite backhand!
I would rather him there instead of Erne. + he’s gonna win the draw initially on the PP as well
You do have a point about the FO, I think he should always be taking the FO when there's less than a minute left in the period.
Probably should take PP FO in the second period where he can change out quickly after the FO. His FO skill is underutilized by Blash.
If you haven't watched the replay of his goal last night, you gotta. It's epic Backhand Luke. (I just watched this twice because it's so damn funny)
Connor McDavid has 18 PP Pts this season.
Our team has 4 PP goals...
ESPN+ is streaming the game.
Well to be fair I don't think anyone would take the entire Red Wings team over McDavid in a trade.
I don’t know if I should be mad at us for being 0 for 40 or surprised that a team went 0-59 and was somehow worse.
It was Cleveland Barons I heard.. Yeah, it's possible they were worse
Got a feeling mantua scratched
Called up from the Taxi Squad to sit in the press box?
Nice, Svech will probably will be between Filppula and Helm for 7 minutes this game.
Svech is on a 2 way contract, he's playing if he's on the roster.
Considering they've been saving cap space for some reason, I imagine Nielsen is playing as well, though it could be that someone's dinged up and a game time decision.
0 pts and -3 in last 5 games. He deserves to sit.
Larkin out tonight. Yikes this is gonna be bad
Calling it now, Glendening on the 2nd PP unit and scores on the first PP of the game, 41 snaps the streak at 41. It's in the stars.
Well, that settles it. Gonna pass on this one
I'm gonna double down on your call, and say it's gonna be a FOREHAND goal.
Fabbri as 1C, this team has absolutely no depth. Guessing the LGD line goes up against Chicago's top line.
