Thinking about it, it's been a long time since someone scored a hat-trick for the Canucks. Usually a good team will have a handful per year. We didn't have one last year (in small season obviously,) and there was only one the season previous. Daniel's 3 goals against Colorado in December 2011, that was the last one. Pretty rare for a good team to go so long without one, kind of.

This got me playing with some stats and I realized that it's 4 years to the day since Henrik Sedin had his only 3-goal game, also against the Avs. So...there you go. That's my prediction. We will beat the Sharks, and Henrik will score 3 goals. How's that.

Okay, I'll say something more relevant. The Sharks have eclipsed 50 shots on goal 4 times this season. Already. That's insane. The last time a team had 4 games with 50+ shots over an entire season was the 88-89 Blackhawks. Uh ... okay. The Canucks last did it in January 2011.
