No one seems more passive in front of the opposing goaltenders net area than the Jets. Jets have very little traffic in front. Very few bodies making it difficult for Binnington. Other games, there are all kinds of scrums breaking out, guys going in and out of the blue paint, stacking bodies two deep, stabbing for rebounds, screening the keeper, taking position just outside the crease - sometimes half in and half out, putting their butts right in the keepers face, looking for tips and screens, defenders grabbing and tackling guys, scrums everywhere.

If the Jets do not get traffic in front of Binnington, it will be Vegas / MAF all over again. An easy time for The Blues, and easy time for Binnington, quick exit for the Jets and people claiming utter nonsense that we were Goalied. This is playoff hockey, if you aren't willing to battle in front, take some punishment, make it hard for the keeper, and get some dirty goals you aren't going to win. Period.

Yes, traffic and lots of shots.

In a similar vein, getting someone in the slot would be nice. Very often every Jet forward is on the boards in the O zone.

Agreed , Connor looked scared to get hit all game , guys like Wheeler and Lowry should be going hard to the net all game . Tanev will help with this a little because i think he's a little Tazmanian devil on skates . Hayes is another that should be in front of the net with his size .

Very nice succinct statement J'Fan in 'F'....

This 2nd half of this season the Jets have been like the Icecapades cycling endlessly on the perimeter with no drive to the net...

No give and go driving to the net...

No determination, no aggressiveness, no strength in front of the opponents crease...

And one thing I will add... Please Po'Mo'... no deployment of Myers and Kulikov in key situations... those 2 alone could be the death of us....

Damn it's along time until the game...

It's not like we have to win this game or we're done...but we have to win this game or we're done.
While i don't want to go to St.Lou down two , i'm a poet and didn't know it , the Jets were pretty decent on the road this season .

Traffic! Jets need to give Binny more traffic than will be stuck on Donald southbound tonight!

He saw the majority of shots clearly and didn't seem flustered. Although I'd prefer Scheif to take a better net-routing this time, especially in the first 3o seconds of the game.
