Sup guys, just wondering how was Ellerby been for you guys?

He's been okay so far. He had an amazing pass to Carter for a goal in one of his early games and he's had some monster hits. He's also shown that he's capable of learning pretty quickly. I think one of the Oilers burned him twice and after that he learned to play that situation differently and it didn't happen again. Doughty has been taking him under his wing and helping him learn our system. So no complaints from me thus far.

With ryan kesler out (foot), the canucks have undergone a significant lineup change. Mason Raymond, a natural winger, will center the teams' second line between jannik hansen and chris higgins. "i have played it from time to time, but not a ton," raymond said. "i've spent the majority of my career on the wing. I talked with manny and a few guys about (face-offs). But when you have your wingers coming in and helping out, it's key." it should make things interesting against the l.a. Kings tonight, especially if raymond is on the ice much against their star centre anze kopitar.
