Went to the casino with the wife last night and couldn’t watch. How did JFK look? How did that line look?

Fast... great stats... i would safely say probably better than 99% of us expected and i was saying put him with marchand/pasrrnak so my expectations were high

Sometimes smart players do better in nhl than ahl because of their team first style

Backes is more suited to the 4th line at this point.

I will suggest we will see some very good hockey from backes before the year is done

My girlfriend came over to watch the game with me last night. She doesn't watch sports, and knows very little about hockey, but she used to watch it sometimes with her dad, growing up in Russia (when it was still the Soviet Union). And she made us a delicious dinner and brought it over (I think I may keep her.) It was pork in a yummy sauce, with potatoes and parsnips. I don't recall ever having had parsnips before.

So we're watching the game as we're eating, and I'm telling her about the Bruins top line, and I told her about Pastrnak, and she points to the parsnips and says "That's what these are called in Russian language!" Turns out, in Russian, parsnips is "pasternak."

I'm having parsnips again tonight! Or is that parSNIPES?

Wonder if fans of any other teams come here after a Bruins loss? Not that there would be anything funny.....(to us).

I`m sure they do, well, maybe not, maybe I`m the sicko here who enjoys reading other teams boards. I never post anything on other boards but I enjoy reading the posts. For those here who think that only Bruin fans complain about various things like lineup choices, contracts etc....check out the other boards, even teams who are playing well still have a portion of their fan base ready, willing and able to complain at any time

I just went over there to browse and there were a horde of them now. I like to look for the latest hockey news, but it sucks wading through all the Leafs BS for a supposed "national" network.

All day on local radio, media and fans alike were obsessed with beating Boston. I swear, I was waiting for a Raptors segment to somehow turn into how the Leafs can beat Boston. The complex this city has developed because of the Bruins is crazy. Sometimes one team is just another team's bugaboo and it's hilarious when it's Leafs nation going nuts over the Bruins.
